Creative Boost – Online Seminars

Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS) are among key ingredients for building a more innovative, cohesive and sustainable society. This fact has received more political recognition both on the national as well as on the European level. The EU has recently reconfirmed its focus on CCS by announcing the New European Bauhaus and launching a 150 million EUR funding call for a new Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) for Europe’s vibrant Culture and Creative Sectors.
As part of wider efforts and a national research and policy recommendations aimed at the future development and support of CCS in Slovenia, the Centre for Creativity (CzK) Slovenia has joined hands with EU National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) Cluster in Slovenia to support this endeavors and place CCS as a cross-sectorial priority high in Slovenian development agenda, and to present effective ways to build CCSs strategies based on good case studies from across Europe.
As part of the CREATIVE BOOST project, EUNIC Cluster in Slovenia and CzK will organise three online seminars, which will bring together experts from Slovenia and EUNIC countries.

On March 4th, 2022 at 13h00-15h00 online workshop “Effective Policies for Cultural and Creative Sectors”. The workshop will focus on integrated and coherent approaches to link cultural and creative sectors with other key policy areas and provide an holistic framework on developing the sector throughout its value chain.

On March 11th, 2022 at 13h00-15h00 online workshop “Creative Place, Creative City, Creative Nation”. The workshop will focus on developing effective clusters and location-placed strategies for cultural and creative sectors on local, regional and national level, as well as supporting internationalisation and visibility abroad.
